Today's other giant hot mess is none other than Miss *~*Punk Rawk*~* herself, Avril Lavigne.

First, I must admit - girlfriend has FLAWLESS and GORGEOUS skin. I need to be on her skin regimen!

Now that I got that out of the way, she looks like she fell into the Wet -n- Wild section at the local Wal-Mart...which is certainly a shame because I'm sure she spent hundreds of dollars sitting in a nice chair getting her make up and her *~*awesome*~* eyelashes done.

First, the eye liner/shadow makes her look like she's trying out to be a new comicbook villain...or perhaps Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance finally decided he's had enough and she's trying out as the new gothic frontperson of that heinous band...or perhaps she realized she's actually in love with Jared Leto and is trying to court him by imitation of his totally amazing and gorgeous make up for his band 30 Seconds To Mars (in which he wears red eyeshadow and then dipped his eyeballs in coal for the racoon-eyed effect)

Second, the rest of her outfit...

Well, at least she looks like she's having fun. From the other pictures at this event, it seems as if they're celebrating her record release (The Best Damn Thing, came out this Tuesday).

Avril, you are TWENTY-TWO and MARRIED. What the hell are you doing still playing dress up at the Barbie/Pretty Pretty Princess section of Toys R Us? And it seems as if you also got lost looking for that and wound up in GI Jane's boots?

I really thought you got over this time in your life once you signed with Ford Models and actually started dressing your age and wearing make up and shoes that actually worked with the outfit. Understated make up! Cute hair! Cute shoes! (weird chanel bracelet but we'll let that go) But no, you've regressed back to this ridiculousness. One step forward and two steps back eh?

You could have at least matched the pink highlights in your hair with the same shade of pink for your dress.
